Episode 3: Review and refine your tailored documents
Fictional example: Alex Demo and Demo Workplace Services

Alex has saved an IT support posting and added one useful detail to his career profile. Now let's build documents for that job.

Before generating, he chooses what to emphasize: hands-on support, clear documentation, and the right amount of technical detail. The app combines those choices with the facts already in his profile.

He generates the tailored CV, then opens it for review.

The CV brings forward the experience this role calls for: Windows and Microsoft 365 support, ticket triage, laptop setup, and documentation.

It is easy to make the wording your own. Alex tightens one knowledge-base bullet for clarity, saves it, and checks the result.

In the clean Minimal layout, his relevant work leads the page. The result is a focused, one-page CV rather than a generic list of everything in his profile.

The remaining skills, education, and certificate are still there at the end. Alex can review each section before downloading.

When the details look right, he downloads the CV as a PDF.

Next, he generates a cover letter for the same saved job.

The letter connects Alex's actual support experience with the fictional employer's needs, using the same career facts as his CV.

He can refine the letter in the built-in editor, just as he did with the CV.

In the finished version, the story stays simple: the support work he has done, the tools he knows, and why that experience fits this role. He reads it through before using it.

Then he downloads the cover letter as a PDF too.

Back in Career Manager, the tailored CV and cover letter are attached to the saved opportunity. They are ready for Alex to use when he applies.
