This tutorial shows a fictional example. Alex Demo, Demo Workplace Services and the job posting are invented, and nothing is sent to any employer.

The steps

  1. Paste or link a job posting and review the extracted role and requirements.

  2. Use the match analysis to spot strengths and details the profile does not yet explain.

  3. Add only truthful, specific context you can support. The match score is guidance, not a hiring prediction.

Episode 2: Add a job posting and understand the match
Fictional example: Alex Demo and Demo Workplace Services

Alex's career profile is ready. Now let's see how it fits one particular job.

In Career Manager, choose Prepare for a New Job.

Paste the job listing, or use its link. For this walkthrough, the employer and role are fictional.

The app picks out the job title and key requirements. Check these before moving on, so the right role guides your documents.

It then compares the posting with Alex's saved background. His strengths show where his experience already lines up.

Here, printer support is mentioned, but the original CV doesn't explain it in detail. Certifications are optional for this job.

Alex adds a short, accurate note about the printer tickets he handled, without claiming work the original CV doesn't support.

That context is saved to his career profile, so it can help with future applications too.

The comparison now reflects that detail. Treat the match as guidance, not a hiring prediction. Next, we'll create the tailored CV and cover letter.
