Welcome to My Resume Robot. By accessing or using our website at myresumerobot.com and web application at webapp.myresumerobot.com (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
My Resume Robot is an AI-powered resume building platform. The Service allows you to store your professional information, import data from existing documents, and generate tailored resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation using artificial intelligence, and to track your job applications. We offer the Service on paid subscription plans, some of which include a free trial; plan details and prices are shown on our pricing page.
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address or sign in using LinkedIn. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to update your information as necessary.
You retain ownership of all professional data, resume content, and other information you provide to the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you, including sending it to AI providers for content generation.
You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content is accurate and does not infringe on any third party's rights.
The Service uses third-party artificial-intelligence systems (including Anthropic Claude and OpenAI) to generate resumes, cover letters, interview preparation, and suggestions. AI output is generated automatically and is provided for your convenience only.

My Resume Robot is offered on paid subscription plans (currently "Pro" and "Premium"). Plan names, features, and prices are shown on our pricing page and are quoted in U.S. dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. We may change plans, features, or prices from time to time; a price change will not affect your current billing period, and we will give you reasonable advance notice before it takes effect on renewal.
Paid plans are billed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your selected payment method for the applicable fees plus any applicable taxes. We do not store your full card details on our servers; payment information is handled by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, depending on the plan — starting when your subscription begins (or, for plans with a free trial, when the trial ends). Your subscription renews automatically. At the end of each billing period your plan renews for another period of the same length and your payment method is charged the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can turn off automatic renewal at any time in Settings → Billing.
Some plans include a free trial (currently 7 days). You may be asked to provide a payment method when you start a trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin automatically and your payment method will be charged for the first billing period at the end of the trial. You can cancel at any time during the trial in Settings → Billing at no cost. We may limit free trials to one per customer and may modify or withdraw trial offers at any time.
We may offer promotional or discount codes, including codes that grant free access to a plan. Promo codes are subject to any terms stated with the offer, have no cash value, cannot be combined unless we say so, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time. Unless stated otherwise, a discount applies only to the period(s) specified; afterward, the subscription renews at the standard price.
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. When you cancel, you keep access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period; after that, paid features are no longer available. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not by itself trigger a refund for the current period except as described below.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first paid subscription charge. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us at billing@myresumerobot.com within 7 days of that charge and we will refund it in full. This guarantee applies to the first amount billed (after any free trial) and not to subsequent renewal charges. Outside this guarantee, payments — including automatic renewal charges — are generally non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review your request in good faith. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear. Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law, including the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. If you are a consumer in Ontario, you may also have additional cancellation or refund rights under the Consumer Protection Act (for example, in connection with certain online or automatically-renewing agreements); those statutory rights apply in addition to, and are not limited by, the options described here.
The Service integrates with third-party providers including AI services (Anthropic, OpenAI) and LinkedIn. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms of service and privacy policies.
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by My Resume Robot, operated by LLnet Tech Services (LLnet-Inc). You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
Some jurisdictions, including Ontario, do not permit the exclusion of certain implied warranties, conditions, or legal guarantees. To the extent such exclusions are not permitted by the law that applies to you, they do not apply, and you may have statutory warranties, conditions, or guarantees that cannot be excluded.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MY RESUME ROBOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Some jurisdictions, including Ontario, do not permit the limitation or exclusion of certain liabilities. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including applicable consumer-protection law; to that extent, the limitations above do not apply to you.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change that affects a paid or automatically-renewing subscription, we will give you reasonable advance notice before the change takes effect — for example, by email to your account address — and, where required by law, obtain your consent. If you do not agree to a material change, you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect and you will not be bound by the change. For other changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date; your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. If you use the Service as a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the jurisdiction where you reside, or of any right you may have to bring proceedings in that jurisdiction.
