LinkedIn and profile-building path · Episode 5

Create an account with LinkedIn

Follow a real sign-up path from the public site to a new MyResumeRobot account using LinkedIn.

42 sec · Updated 2026-10-20

This recording shows the live product with a real account and the site owner's own, authorized career information. It is not the fictional Alex Demo example used in tutorials 1 to 4, and nothing is sent to any employer.

Watch the tutorial

MyResumeRobot sign-up page with the Sign up with LinkedIn option.

The video does not start on its own and has English captions. Jump to the written transcript or open the transcript as a plain-text file.

The steps

  1. Open the public Pricing page and choose a plan that suits you.

  2. Select Sign up with LinkedIn and complete LinkedIn's private sign-in flow.

  3. Review the name, email, and professional headline on the welcome screen before continuing.

Important: signing in with LinkedIn sets up your account. It does not import your work history. Episode 6 shows the separate profile-PDF import.

Episode 5: Create an account with LinkedIn

Start on the website's home page. Open Pricing to see your options.

Choose the Free plan to create an account.

The sign-up page offers LinkedIn as an option, so you don't need to fill in the email form.

Select Sign up with LinkedIn.

After signing in privately on LinkedIn, check the name and email on your welcome screen.

Add a clear professional headline, and save your details.

Your account is ready. LinkedIn sign-in doesn't import your career history yet. In the next tutorial, we'll download your profile PDF and bring those details into the app.
